Refund policy.

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. The following policy outlines your rights and obligations when registering for in-person courses delivered by Ortho Atelier.

Cancellation by You

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the course date: full refund minus a 5% admin fee.

  • Cancellations made 14 to 30 days before the course date: 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course date: no refund.

  • Refunds are calculated on the total course fee, not on the amount paid to date. If you are on a payment plan, any refund due will be based on the total fee less the applicable percentage above, offset against instalments already paid. If the amount you have paid is less than the non-refundable portion, the outstanding balance remains payable.

  • The deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances except cancellation by us.

  • You may request to transfer your booking to another eligible participant. Please notify us in writing. Any outstanding balance must be settled or transferred before the course date.

Payment Plans

  • Payment plans consist of a deposit followed by scheduled instalments, with the full balance due before the course date.

  • Choosing a payment plan does not reduce your liability for the full course fee. By booking, you commit to the total course fee regardless of payment method.

  • Cancelling a payment plan or stopping instalments does not cancel your booking. The cancellation terms in section 1 apply from the date you notify us in writing.

  • Failed or missed instalments must be settled within 7 days of notification. If the balance is not paid in full before the course date, we reserve the right to release your place without refund of amounts already paid.

Cancellation by Us

  • If Ortho Atelier cancels a course, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including your deposit.

  • We are not responsible for reimbursing any travel or accommodation expenses.

Missed Attendance

  • No refund will be issued for non-attendance without prior written notice.

Your Statutory Rights

  • If you book online, you may have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period from the date of booking, during which you can cancel for a full refund.

  • If you book a course that takes place within 14 days of your booking date, you agree that we may begin providing the service within the cooling-off period, and the cancellation terms in section 1 will apply. We may consider exceptions at our discretion.

  • Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
